Creating awareness on the Energy Saving evolution: with this goal in mind ESA Automation participated in the Mechatronics Forum, that took place in September 24th 2014 at Parco Scientifico Tecnologico Kilometro Rosso in Bergamo.
During the round table FOCUS END USER, from 2.30 to 4.30 pm, ESA Automation has showed its integrated platform for predictive maintenance and energy efficiency. It’s a hardware and software solution that allows to monitor both consumption and quality of the network, in order to continuously check the trend of energy consumption so as to have the necessary information to obtain – with the right actions – more efficiency.
The ESA Automation system for Energy Management is designed to integrate all the functionality needed to facilitate the maintenance of production plants and thus stabilize their energy efficiency. From consumption data aquisition networks to systems remote control via safe access Virtual Private Network, ES Automation is able to offer a concrete solution to Energy Saving and predictive maintenance.
During his presentation, engineer and ESA Energy supervisor Stefano Longoni has demonstrated how to monitor the consumption of the production plants using a tool equipment located on them and connected online, wired or wireless. This system is set up through an open platform, that can also be used to check the consumption data remotely. Just log in from a standard HTML5 browser on any PC, smartphone or tablet device.
Such a solution consistently facilitates the monitoring of consumption, enabling you to easily and quickly verify the presence of power peaks and therefore identify any waste or inefficiency of the system. Furthermore, by checking the ESA platform becomes possible to measure disturbances in the network or caused by worn parts. This means getting frequent analysis tools for predictive maintenance of machinery, avoiding problematic situations. Such a targeted and timely intervention on mulfunctions guarantees significant cost and time savings.
To be more efficient through mechatronics: consumption, flexibility and maintenance. In line with the subject of the Forum Mechatronics round table, ESA has explained its commitment to improve the sustainability of automation.
