Lumia handheld products are the perfect choice when display and control of the system are required with the operator near the moving part. Robotics applications are the classic example; manual robot movement during setup requires the operator to command the robot and simultaneously manually intervene on the actuator.
The connection with the controller (ethernet or serial RS232/RS485) is stable thanks to the integrated shielded cable. Safety is ensured by the presence of the emergency stop button and the three-position dead man’s switch. The video pages, membrane keyboard functions, and LED status are fully configurable via the Kreo HMI configuration software. The product is also available as an Open platform capable of hosting custom applications or in a webHMI configuration.
